Heather Foley

Heather Foley

Heather, a recently retired Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, worked within the NHS, Military and private sector throughout her career. Due to some major traumas early in Heather’s life, including 10 concussions, PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder) and EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) which lead to increased anxiety, hyper reactivity and an inability to self regulate, she went down a rabbit hole on mental health and diet. Listening to Dr Michael Lewis was one of her first “aha” moments re the importance of diet, specifically brain food, relative to her ongoing mental health issues. This led to Heather exploring and starting the Ketogenic diet around 2010 and subsequently the carnivore way of eating in May 2018. The results were so outstanding, she is now focused on researching the Ketogenic diet in more depth, as well as working with individuals and groups to inspire them on their own ketogenic journey. Heather also teaches yoga, and emotional freedom technique (EFT).

Heather has completed training with both Dr Georgia Ede on Ketogenic diets for mental health in clinical training and the Nutrition Network Medical Certification Pathway training, via the Prof Noakes foundation. She has discovered that there are a lot of conferences and trainings for the academic in this space and nothing like Keto Brain Health for the people who need it most. She is incredibly motivated therefore to be able to offer you the inspiration you deserve with the World’s first 2 day Keto Brain Health Clinic. Her aim is to Inspire, Reassure and Educate anyone interested in starting this journey, and looking for support, through experienced specialists in this health space. Heather is the Founder and Director of Keto Brain Health Ltd.

Simon Grant

Simon Grant

Simon started his journey as a Sports Scientist having developed a passion for injury rehabilitation. He subsequently trained as a Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor.

Having treated over 50,000 clients, he realised that pain is not purely physical, and this led to further training as a Swan Hypnotherapist, allowing him to treat Body and mind.

Coinciding with this career trajectory was a life of health questing. Suffering from Migraine, IBS and early onset Arthritis with his youngest son diagnosed with Autism at 3 years old. He and his family made radical lifestyle changes to try and improve outcomes for them all.

Spurred on by his Hungarian wife, a philosopher and voracious investigator, Simon and his family began to experiment with Vegetarianism, Veganism and after much research Carnivore diet. The changes they have experienced, over the last 2 years, following this way of eating were profound.
(Migraines gone in 30 days, IBS 80% improved in 12 months, Autistic meltdowns disappeared, Tick syndrome under control and Perimenopause symptoms gone).

He was inspired to train as a G.A.P.S Certified Nutritionist and expanded his practice to cover Body, mind and Gut…the Health Trinity. He has developed an assessment of the whole person, realising that we cannot be broken down into mechanistic parts, but are a complex symbiotic system.

Having included this healing way of eating into his practice he crossed paths with John Need, a filmmaker and visionary who’s creative mind was inspired to film a documentary revolving around the carnivore diet.

This led to a partnership in Hamstair Wheel Films and the inception of the film  “Meat Your Maker”.

Hannah Sutter

Hannah Sutter

Hannah is the Founder of three specialist food companies that create food for the Ketogenic Diet based on whole foods.

Before setting up the Natural Ketosis Group Hannah was a partner in a large global law firm specialising in corporate and corporate finance law. Her journey from law to nutrition began when she read an article in her husband’s BMJ in 2000 reviewing three studies using the keto diet to reverse type 2 diabetes. The article outlined the basic biochemistry of the impact of elevated levels of insulin in the human body. From reading this article, Hannah decided to switch to a Keto/low carb diet and was amazed at how well she felt. In 2003, Hannah decided to leave the legal profession and start a food company to make low carb food but free from the rogue ingredients such as sweeteners.

Her first business started in 2004, and it was focused initially on low carb keto food options for weight loss or the management of type 2 diabetes.

In 2013 she was approached by the charity Mathews Friends and in particular the founder Emma Wiliams OBE to create a range of food for children with drug resistant epilepsy. This began a deeper dive into the ketogenic diet and with an expert dietician she founded Ketocarefoods that supplies specialist food on prescription to the NHS for children with drug resistant epilepsy. Everything produced by Ketocarefoods is made from whole food ingredients and complies with the requirements of both the classic 3 to 1 ketogenic diet as well as the modified ketogenic diet.

In 2020 she created FATT, which is a range of ultra clean delicious snacks for the ketogenic or low carb diet. None of her products have any sweeteners and are free from fillers or other processed ingredients. Everything in this range is high in fibre and rich in good fats.

Hannah has been an advocate of ketogenic whole food diets for over 20 years and is a Patron of the Public Health Collaboration. Her business has been a supporter of charities such as Mathews Friends and Daisy Garland. Hannah is also the author of the book “BIG FAT LIES. Is our government making us fat?”
